VETERANS SINGLE TAY 2026

The event took place on Sunday 30 August with 4 swimmers setting out from Tayport Harbour at 5 pm to cross the tay back to Broughty Ferry.

Despite the weather forecast of 90% chance of rain and a Yellow Thunerstorm advisory in place across central scotland, it remained dry, fair and with light winds for the duration of the event.

One swimmer pulled out due to effects of the cold but 3 swimmers completed the tay crossing in the following time:

1st. Steshan Delaney 35 M 12 S

2nd Kim Samson 52 M 43 S

3rd Simon Mackay 1 H 08 M 40 S

Presentations were made by Michael Brown on behalf of TSPC, who were the sponsors of the event.
