Briefing Briefing will take place on the day at the Drummond Fishery car park 45 minutes prior to the swim. The briefing will take place outdoors so please ensure you bring warm clothing.
Start The championship will start approximately 20 minutes after the completion of the briefing, from either the Boating jetty in front of the former Lochearnhead Watersports Centre or the Drummond Hotel Jetty in St Fillans. Start will be by loud hailer or whistle.
Course The direction fo the swim will depend on the weather conditions on the day and will be advised at the briefing. The course is in a straight line (or as near as you can get) between Lochearnhead, the FULL length of the loch, passing to the south side of Neish Island and the Drummond Hotel jetty at St. Fillans. Please follow your boat at all times. This swim will be run under SASA and World Aquatics rules.
Finish Your swim will finish as you pass either the Drummond Hotel or Lochearnhead jetty and will be signalled by a whistle. There will also be a red and white finish sign displayed at the jetty.
Costumes Costumes must comply with SASA regulations which are the same as World Aquatics in this respect. Open Water Swimwear for both men and women shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor shall extend below the ankle. All Open Water swimsuits shall comply with the World Aquatics criteria for materials and approved procedures.Wet suits can only be worn if indicated on the entry form.
Parking Parking is available at the Drummond Fisheries.
Presentation Presentation will be at the appropriate finish point. This may be subject to change - if so, you will be notified prior to the swim. The following Categories will be awarded:

In addition to the annual awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each category will be awarded a unique 'YeAABA Loch' medal in Gold, Silver or Bronze. All finishers will receive a personalized certificate.
