Fundraising Campaign for Replacing the John Barrowman Rib.

The John Barrowman Rib is now getting quite old (20+bYears) and we are looking to replace it with a more modern and up to date vessel. The current rib will be sold to go towards the cost of replacement, but there will be a balance required to fully fund the newer vessel.

Can you help us by making a donation towards this purchase?

You can use the donation feature on the left or you can contact the treasurer (treasurer@yeaaba.org) for our bank details to make a BACS transfer if that is more preferrable.

We will also be looking at various funding providors to see if we can obtain any grants towards this upgrade.

Ideally, we would like to achieve this during 2026 if we can, but we realise that depending on grant availability this may have to wait until the end of the 2026 season to achieve. The replacement Rib will be called “John Barrowman II”
